Four easy crock pot recipes perfect for fall (breakfast and dinner)
/So I am back today with more slow cooker recipes. These are quick, easy and perfect for busy fall nights (or mornings).
Vegetable soup
What you'll need:
1/2 pound cooked ground meat (I used chicken you can use turkey/beef/pork or go vegetarian and not include at all)
1 can tomato paste
1 can diced tomatoes with the juice
1/2 a bag Pictsweet soup vegetables
5-6 cups vegetable stock (or chicken stock. I actually use chicken base and add water if I don’t have any premade chicken broth)
Directions:
Coat meat in tomato paste, add in canned tomatoes vegetables, and broth. Stir and cook on low for 4- 8 hours.
Pulled buffalo chicken sandwiches
What you'll need:
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 bottle of Moore’s buffalo sauce
1/2 bottle of ranch dressing
Directions:
pour over chicken breasts and cook on low for 6 hours.
Tip: Steam your buns in the slow cooker. When your meat is finished place your buns in a glass pie plan inside the slow cooker on top of your meat. Put the lid on the cooker and let the crockpot warm yo buns.
Sausage, potatoes and peppers
What you’ll need:
one package cased sausage cut in one-inch pieces
five potatoes cut into rounds
five to six bell peppers
Everything but the bagel season from Trader Joes or Everything for the bagel seasoning from Walmart
Directions:
Layer your slow cooker with potatoes, then peppers, then sausage, seasoning each layer
Cook 6 hours on low.
Pumpkin Pie oatmeal
What you’ll need:
2 cups steel-cut oats
one can pumpkin puree
7 cups of water
pumpkin pie seasoning
vanilla
brown sugar or maple syrup to taste
Directions:
Add the oats, puree and water to your slow cooker. Stir to make sure there are no lumps. Cook on warm for 7-10 hours. Yes. Warm.
In the morning stir, add in vanilla and seasoning. I used the brown sugar and maple syrup to taste.
